Mark J McDonald

Mark has 15 years experience in private equity and capital markets. He leads Keyhaven's due diligence process with a particular emphasis on secondary investments, including the sourcing, analysing and monitoring of private equity investment opportunities. Before joining Keyhaven, he was employed by Pomona Capital where he served as a Director of its European operations; prior to this he was with Venture Capital Investments, an investment boutique affiliated with 3i, based in Milan, Italy. Mark began his career with Barclays Capital where he held various positions within debt capital markets and principal finance based in Europe and Asia.
Mark received a BA in Economics and Politics with honours from the University of Leeds, and earned an MBA from SDA Bocconi University, Milan. In addition to English, he is fluent in Italian, and also speaks conversational French.
