Keyhaven Capital appoints Kelly Mayer as U.S. Operating Partner

Kelly’s responsibilities will include investments, portfolio management and investor relations across North America. He will work closely with Keyhaven’s portfolio to identify opportunities for geographic expansion through organic growth and selected bolt-on opportunities, and he will also lead the firm’s North American investor coverage.

Kelly was formerly a Partner with and part of the team that formed Lion Capital, a private investment firm focused on acquiring market-leading consumer brands in Europe and North America. During his 14-year tenure, Kelly led Lion’s fundraising and investor relations activities, raising over $7 billion of capital commitments for closed-end funds and co-investment vehicles. Prior to Lion Capital, Kelly was part of the investor relations team at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, a private equity firm focusing on control investments in Europe and North America.
