Keyhaven Capital Partners backs capital D’s acquisition of Phrasee
Keyhaven Capital Partners (“Keyhaven”), the specialist secondaries private equity firm dedicated to the European lower mid-market, has backed capital D in its acquisition of Phrasee.
Founded in 2015, Phrasee is the second largest global AI powered SaaS platform, centred on brand language optimisation. The deep-tech platform automatically generates and optimises marketing language in real time without the need for human intervention, helping marketing departments of large blue-chip companies to improve their customer engagement and uplift revenues.
With its niche proprietary technology and expansive client base across multiple industries, Phrasee has established itself as a channel leader in this space and is well placed to expand market share due to the significant barriers to entry for competitors. This includes strategic investment opportunities to carry out further product development as well as targeting the large pool of prospective customers in North America and EMEA.
Under the investment period, plans to accelerate growth of the business include future expansion of Phrasee’s geographic footprint outside of English-speaking markets, and the extension of the product suite available to customers throughout the digital customer journey and across more media. Other priorities will include strengthening the commercial organisation in key geographies.
