Sasha van de Water recognised as industry Changemaker

Keyhaven is delighted to announce that our Managing Partner Sasha van de Water has been featured amongst PEI’s 21 Changemakers, a ranking published by Private Equity International listing the most influential leaders in the private equity industry, for her role in co-founding Level 20.

Alongside 11 other private equity professionals, Sasha co-founded Level 20 in 2015 as a non-profit organisation aiming at improving gender diversity in the European Private Equity sector.

Since its inception, Level 20 and its co-founders have championed diversity, equity and inclusion in the asset class, galvanised efforts to better recruit, retain and promote women across the industry, and put these principles squarely on senior leaders’ agendas.

This commitment to diversity is one that is also reflected in our own business, where we are proud that over 50% of our team are women. We are a firm believer that the benefits of diversity go far deeper than a mere public relations exercise or as an expression of social justice. It is clear to us that as the global landscape shifts and evolves, companies that adapt by nurturing an active diversity policy will be better positioned to succeed and prosper.

The broader Keyhaven team is comprised of individuals with diverse professional backgrounds, nationalities and language capabilities: we hail from 19 countries, and we speak 23 languages. This rich heritage serves as the central building block of our firm, and informs our culture, strategy, and execution capabilities. We are a complementary mix of people who share a sense of ambition, a questioning nature and an open-minded, creative and friendly approach.
